The Wood Floor Cleaning Process
Although different floors require different cleaning methods, you can expect your wood cleaning service to follow these steps:
Inspection
Our wood floor cleaning experts will perform a thorough analysis of your floors to identify deep scratches and blemishes, as well as whether or not your floor has an acrylic coating. Please keep in mind that Chem-Dry does not repair deep scratches, gouges, or discolorations.
Polish and Acrylic Coating Removal
If the technician identifies the presence of floor polish or acrylic coating, we will gently remove it with our proprietary coating removal solution.
Deep Cleaning
Once blemishes have been identified and any coatings have been removed, we’ll deep clean the floor with our green certified, nontoxic cleaner. Our wood floor cleaning solution removes dirt, debris, and contaminants safely and effectively. It contains no soaps or harsh chemicals and does not leave behind streaks or residue. While our cleaning solution is gentle and safe, it’s not recommended for unfinished wood floors.
Polish
To finish up the service, we’ll apply a coating of our wood polish to bring out your wood floor’s natural beauty. Better yet, our polish adds a protective layer to the surface that keeps your floors looking their best until your next cleaning.
